The authority adjusted GGR to 2026 price levels and aligned figures with GDP, so some numbers differ from earlier annual reports.<\/p>\n<p>Online casino revenue rose 12.1% year on year to DKK4.31 billion. Since 2012, the segment has grown 139%. Online slots did most of the work, producing DKK3.54 billion, or 82% of online casino GGR. Roulette and blackjack each made up about 6%.<\/p>\n<p>Lottery no longer leads the Danish gambling market. Monopoly lotteries, including Lotto, Klasselotterier and scratch tickets, fell 6.2% to DKK3.49 billion. Since 2012, lottery revenue has dropped 27.7%.<\/p>\n<p>Sports betting also had a weaker year. Betting GGR fell 11.5% to DKK2.13 billion, although it still sits 7.6% above the 2012 level. Slot machines brought in DKK1.18 billion, down 6.8%, while land based casino GGR fell 5.6% to DKK378 million. Land based bingo appeared after January 2025 liberalisation and added DKK30 million.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Mobile Play And Harm Data Shape The Market<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Denmark is now mainly an online gambling market. Mobile devices generated 73% of online gambling revenue in 2025, compared with 27% in 2012. Online casino alone drew 69% of revenue from mobile.<\/p>\n<p>Market access also widened. By year end, Spillemyndigheden had issued 1,970 gambling licences and permits. The total included 41 online casino licences, 27 betting licences, 277 physical slot machine permits covering 23,172 machines, 12 land based bingo licences and four monopoly lottery holders.<\/p>\n<p>New suppliers also entered the Danish <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino\/what-is-igaming\/\">iGaming<\/a> market. Digitain announced its Denmark launch in May. Arshak Muradyan, group chief compliance officer at Digitain, said: <em>\u201cDenmark is recognised for its strong compliance standards and mature gaming ecosystem, making this achievement particularly significant for our continued European growth strategy.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Responsible gambling data added pressure to the growth story. ROFUS, the voluntary exclusion register, reached 68,026 people, up by about 12,000 from the end of 2024. Men made up 79% of registrations, while 69% of registrants were under 40.<\/p>\n<p>StopSpillet received 727 enquiries, its highest total since the helpline began in 2019. Online casino was linked to 62% of player calls, while online betting accounted for 22%. Among player callers, 45% said they had started gambling before age 18.<\/p>\n<p>The channelisation report will arrive later in 2026 after further data checks.
