Andrew Shelton took the largest single payday from the event after pulling the $1,000,000 bounty envelope.<\/p>\n<p>Chun started the final 13 in the middle of the counts, then built late. Kartik Ved and Jalil Houssain did much of the early damage, but Chun removed Axel Bayout, then beat Ved in third. The Armenia-born California resident beat 4,622 entries and earned <strong>$259,829,<\/strong> the largest live score of his career.<\/p>\n<p>Galstyan reached the last 37 as the only bracelet winner still in. He took the lead after busting Michael Destephen in 10th, then used pocket aces to send out Michael Wagner. The Texas player topped 626 entries and earned <strong>$155,819<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Hubbard began the final day with the lead and made it count. He knocked out Anthony Lamps in a major pot, then hit a key draw to send Dylan Smith out in third. The Georgia Tech PhD student beat 1,840 entries for <strong>$346,108<\/strong>, just short of his $355,110 runner-up score at the 2025 WPT World Championship festival.<\/p>\n<p>Zhang said poker is still a hobby for him while he studies. He said:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m still a student. Poker isn\u2019t full-time for me. It\u2019s a hobby, but I like it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Zhang started the final day fourth in chips and waited until three-handed play for his first knockout. He made a big flush against David Rees, then pulled ahead of Harlan Karnofsky heads-up. His first bracelet came nearly 11 years earlier in the 2015 $3,000 No-Limit Hold\u2019em Six-Max.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Lee drove much of the final table action, eliminating Naween Fernando, Brad Ruben, Brandon Shack-Harris, and Jean Laurent. Liberto still entered heads-up play ahead, then regained control with sevens full.
