Full results are due on April 24, but the early message is clear: revenue slipped a little, profit dropped much harder.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong><em>Good to Know<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Betsson expects Q1 revenue of 285 million euro, down 3 percent year on year.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>EBIT is seen at 34 million euro, down from 64 million euro.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Early Q2 trading improved, with daily revenue up 9 percent to April 8.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<h2>Betsson Warns on Q1 as Taxes and B2B Pressure Hit Margins<\/h2>\n<p>The Stockholm listed group said first quarter revenue should land at 285 million euro, down from 294 million euro a year earlier. EBIT is expected to fall 47 percent to 34 million euro from 64 million euro, with higher tax pressure doing much of the damage.<\/p>\n<p>The regional picture was split. Latin America rose to 93 million euro from 75 million euro, while Western Europe improved to 61 million euro from 56 million euro. CEECA moved the other way, falling to 96 million euro from 122 million euro. The Nordics also dropped, slipping to 31 million euro from 38 million euro.<\/p>\n<p>Product trends were uneven too. Sportsbook revenue held flat at 80 million euro. Casino revenue fell by 8 million euro to 204 million euro.
