Numbers from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board show how active the market remained through the heart of football season and how major brands like FanDuel, DraftKings, Fanatics Sportsbook, BetMGM, bet365, BetRivers and Caesars continued to pull in heavy action.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Good to Know<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Online operators drove nearly the full handle and almost the full revenue for the month<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Pennsylvania crossed $60 million in tax revenue for the first four months of the fiscal year<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>iGaming reached a new adjusted revenue peak in October<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p>Pennsylvania closed October with $968.5 million in accepted wagers across online and retail channels, landing well ahead of the $858.1 million recorded one year earlier. The previous record of $935.5 million from November 2024 fell comfortably as betting activity climbed through NFL, NBA and NHL action.<\/p>\n<p>A stronger operator environment also helped. The statewide hold reached 9.5 percent, generating $91.8 million in gross revenue. That number sat nearly three points higher than the win rate from last October, when many operators around the country struggled to keep pace with bettor-friendly outcomes. Promotional credits landed at $31.1 million, which brought adjusted gross revenue to $60.7 million.<\/p>\n<p>State taxes reinforced Pennsylvania as one of the highest-yield jurisdictions in the country. FanDuel handed out $15.4 million in promotional credits, landing on $18.1 million in taxable revenue for the month.<\/p>\n<p>DraftKings tightened its promotional approach but still landed its best-ever handle at $297.7 million. The operator reported $27.2 million in gross revenue. Its adjusted revenue jumped sharply to $21.7 million, a sizeable shift from the $3.9 million recorded during the heavy-spending month of September.<\/p>\n<p>Fanatics Sportsbook secured the third-largest handle at $65.4 million. The figure sat roughly 66 percent above where the brand stood last October, supported by an 8.7 percent win rate.
